Our topic this term is bush-rangers and especially Ned Kelly So we went to the old Melbourne goal to find some information and the old treasury building.
After the quick train ride we were in parliament station ready for adventuring in the big city I think it was also I chance to learn some integrity by being aware of the people around. After we got out of the claustrophobic station we went strait to the old Treasury building. Once we were there we learnt about how people would have lived nearly 200 years ago. Life has changed humongous since then. After that we looked at first floor which included a great map of Liverpool (England) drawn by the fourteen year old Jack who later got offered to design the old treasury building he took the offer with pride and then also designed the treasury building.
After a quick snack we left towards the Old Melbourne Goal once we were thier we admired the design until we were inside. Inside every thing was secure hard brick everywhere if you were in there you had no chance of escaping. Our enthuisastic guide was Marissa who shoud as round the squashed compound. We were lucky that at the time we whent the squizzy exibet was on.
overall it was a new experence for everyone even if theve been before and was exciting
